How Maru Beauty subscriptions, auto-refill orders, and recurring billing work.
Subscriptions and auto-refill
Some Maru Beauty products may be offered as subscriptions, auto-refill plans, pre-orders, or similar recurring purchase options. This policy explains how those purchases work.
When you purchase a subscription or auto-refill product, you authorize Maru Beauty or our payment provider to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to the frequency and price shown at checkout.
Your payment details are stored securely by our payment or subscription provider. Maru Beauty does not directly store full card numbers.
Renewal notices and billing
Subscription orders renew according to the schedule selected at checkout. Pricing, shipping, taxes, and discounts may vary based on the subscription terms, product availability, promotions, and shipping location.
If required by law or by the subscription service, renewal notices may be sent before recurring charges.
Managing or canceling subscriptions
You can manage, pause, skip, update, or cancel eligible subscriptions using the subscription management link provided after purchase or by contacting us through the Contact page.
To avoid the next charge, changes must be made before the next billing date. Once a subscription order has processed, it may be treated like a regular order and may not be cancelable before fulfillment.
Failed payments
If a subscription payment fails, the system may retry the payment or ask you to update your payment method. Subscription deliveries may be paused or canceled if payment cannot be completed.
Pre-orders
If we offer pre-orders, you are purchasing an item that is not ready to ship immediately. Payment may be collected at checkout or at a later date, depending on the offer shown. Estimated ship dates are estimates and may change.
Try before you buy
If we offer try-before-you-buy products, your payment method may be authorized before shipment and charged after the trial period unless the item is returned according to the offer terms.
Returns and refunds
Subscription, pre-order, and try-before-you-buy returns are subject to our Refund policy unless separate terms are shown at checkout.
